This prosthetic is just the normal artificial limb on the market, it has machine intelligence enough to adjust when running or walking, a prosthetic socket to fit the original limb comfortably, and that's about it
We plan to alter this model and create a model that is lightweight and made with plastic and carbon fiber and has softer materials in areas of more stress to provide comfort to the user constantly. the softer material will be able to immediately respond to changes in speed, loads, and terrain. We plan to add more artificial intelligence so it can adapt to users walking style and environment. Most prosthetic devices have enough machine intelligence to allow it to walk and move in new environments but our focus for our prosthetic is for individuals who were previously active before their accidents, such as athletes or trainers. Therefore, our prosthetic will have machine intelligence that allows athletes to change its setting in wet, rough environments, such as hiking, swimming, or climbing. Our prosthetic device will be able to sense automatically and quickly what environment the user is in and change its settings and predict the users intentions by having processors that determine the amount of angle the knee needs to bend when performing these athletic tasks. Therefore, no settings need to be adjusted manually. Lastly, we will develop a prosthetic socket that is custom fitted with pylon that allows the socket to be lightweight and comfortable for the user so no complaints will occur and the user will have nothing to worry about. Our prosthetic socket will be able to automatically connect comfortable and it will be able to communicate with the artificial limb. we will develop a prosthetic socket with a custom fitted socket with pylon which also allows it to be lightweight. |
